The flotilla served as the personal fleet of the Confederacy of Independent Systems' leader, Count Dooku. Flagged by Dooku's personal Providence-class Dreadnought, it consisted of at least six Munificent-class star frigates and two Lucrehulk-class Battleships. Later during the time of the Scipio invasion, the flotilla was in possession of Dual Hemisphere-Omni Support Vessels.
The flotilla first appeared in "Supply Lines," the third episode of the animated television series Star Wars: The Clone Wars' third season, which originally aired on September 24, 2010.
