Dol Donar's yacht was owned by Governor Dol Donar II, which he was using as their family yacht. It was large, fast, and well armed.
Following his son graduation from the Academy of Carida, they left the planet and boarded the liner Star of Empire for a luxurious cruise. By coincidence, Nathan saw that his classman Kyle Katarn was also there, and said that if he told him he was booked, his family would had offered him a lift.
In the following hours Katarn's affiliation with Rebel agents on board the ship was discovered, and after skirmish they escaped on their transport, the Truly Sorry. However the Imperial military officers and the bounty hunter Slyder came back with the damaged parts of the Rebel droid A-Cee.
The Governor offered to employ his own yacht for the pursuit and he, his son, Slyder and the soldiers boarded it wearing space suits. He insisted on taking the droid's remains with them and a technician tried to re-activate it on board while pursuing the Truly Sorry. As the smaller Rebel vessel couldn't outrun the yacht, Jan Ors turned the Sorry to a course against their pursuers and opened fire, despite its stronger shield.
That moment, A-Cee was successfully reactivated; but spotting Nathan's Imperial uniform, its self-destruct mechanism was triggered. Slyder, who already was feeling that the humans were too incompetent to be tolerated, started shooting around before A-Cee killed everyone, destroying the yacht. Governor Donar found his end in that havoc, next to his son.
