These Coruscant docks were located under the derrick major and was where cargo ships docked on Coruscant to load and unload cargo containers.
After his funeral, Senators Padmé Amidala and Bail Organa were directed to the docks while investigating who had killed Onaconda Farr. They were ambushed by an assailant who managed to escape, and later the docks became the scene of a criminal investigation by Lieutenant Tan Divo and the Coruscant Security Force.
