Disney Junior (launched on March 23, 2012) is the flagship property of Disney Channels Worldwide, a subsidiary of the Disney-ABC Television Group, which is itself an arm of The Walt Disney Company. It was created to replace the Playhouse Disney channel. Disney Junior currently airs children's programming, with its primary demographic being boys ages 2 through 7.
Disney Junior, along with Disney+, currently air Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures, series focused for preschoolers, grade schoolers, and their families. It is set during the High Republic Era.
