The Director of COMPNOR was the title of the leader of the Commission for the Preservation of the New Order, a position held by Chairman Armand Isard during the Imperial Era. As director, Isard sat on COMPNOR's Select Committee. In 35 ABY, the historian and Resistance paramilitary member Beaumont Kin mentioned the title in several instances in his book, The Rise and Fall of the Galactic Empire.
