The Dilestri system was a star system near which the New Republic Correctional Transport Bothan-5 was infiltrated by a crew of mercenaries, who broke out the prisoner Qin, around 9 ABY. Some of the mercenaries, including the ex-Imperial sharpshooter Migs Mayfeld, were captured and imprisoned aboard the correctional transport before the derelict prison ship was found near the Dilestri system. Another member of the crew, the Mandalorian Din Djarin, mentioned the events near the system in a conversation with the New Republic Marshal Cara Dune.
