Clyde started as a lumberman before becoming the head of a gang. When Qi'ra stopped by his headquarters posing as a wealthy off-world buyer, he blamed his secretary for losing the appointment. He agreed to sell his entire harvest of delweed to Qi'ra. She demanded that he personally put together the sales order and left while he was busy. Panicked, he brought together the gang leaders to try and determine who Qi'ra was which led the Crimson Dawn surveillance to discovering everything about the gang. He met her when she returned to his office to sign the contracts.
Clyde often blamed subordinates instead of taking it himself.
