Following the Great Jedi Purge, the farmer and entrepreneur Orrin Gault bought a SoroSuub JG-8 luxury landspeeder as a gift for business proprietor Annileen Calwell as part of a marriage proposal. In truth, Gault wanted to acquire her assets in order to settle his debts to Jabba. Though the vehicle costs thousands, it had a fault control stick which caused Annileen's son Jabe Calwell to control. Their friend Obi-Wan Kenobi realized that the control stick was faulty, leading Annileen to realize that the dealer had cheated them.
