The inventor of dejarik was an individual who was born many years before the Clone Wars. At one point, they invented the popular two-player board game known as dejarik, also known as holochess. They also invented a similar game, saigok, which the Twi'lek Kaasha Bateen regarded as a more "badass" version of dejarik. Bateen described the inventor as a "madman."
