Death Wind Corridor

The Death Wind Corridor was a spice trade corridor which passed through the astronomical object Roon, located in the Roon system within an intersecting portion of the Outer Rim Territories and the Slice regions. At Roon, it intersected the hyperspace routes known as the Cloak of the Sith, Mumble's Turnaround and Triellus Trade Route. During the Clone Wars between the Galactic Republic and Separatist Alliance, an execution squad known as the Death Wind, which bore a connection with the trade corridor, made attacked on groups under both the Republic and Separatists. After the Roonian Republic soldier Mekedrix went rogue and joined the Death Wind group, Republic Admiral Wullf Yularen had suspicions about the man's new connections, Roon's placement along the Death Wind corridor backing the connection.
