Dealer droids, also known as casino droids or croupier droids, were droids used by casinos to deal cards. Some of them, for aesthetic and ornamental reasons, were plated in polished copper. A number of them were located at an underground resort on the planet Bastatha.
In the short comic "Off the Rails," the featured croupier droid greatly resembles the GE3-series protocol droid seen in the Legends video game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic.
