He and Richard Green were chosen by Collette Michaud to join the creative team of Star Wars: Rebel Assault in order to replace two artists who left the project. Vallone joined halfway into the project doing the cutscenes of level #8: "Imperial Walkers". He also had creative freedom for level #11: "Yavin Training" which he "designed as [he] went along".
He also did some 3D artwork for Star Wars: Dark Forces.
