The book's outer cover was a gray-brown color and featured the title on its spine, which was written in Aurebesh characters. Additional text was also present toward the bottom of the spine.

In 137 ABY, Darth Wyyrlok searched through his collection in order to find a cure for a terminal affliction suffered by his master, Darth Krayt. Darth-Nemo-Dak was present in a pile of books nearby as Wyyrlok was engaged in his search.

Darth-Nemo-Dak appeared a flashback in the background of a comic panel in the twenty-seventh issue of the comic series Star Wars: Legacy from publisher Dark Horse Comics. The issue was published on August 27, 2008 and was written by John Ostrander with illustrations by Omar Francia and Brad Anderson.

Darth-Nemo-Dak is placed toward the far-right side of a comic panel, and as such, part of the book's spine is cut off from view. To the right of the title, partially illegible additional text is visible, reading "discov–."
