A dark side artifact was an Force artifact infused with the dark side of the Force. The Sith created their own dark side artifacts, such as Sith masks, Sith scrolls, and Sith holocrons. According to the Jedi Master Cohmac Vitus, at least one dark side artifact was known to him in around 230 BBY. There where multiple different types of dark side artifacts, including amulets, crystals, and even glaciers. The Archive of Forbidden Artifacts contained many dark side artifacts of the Sith, Yacombe, and Sorcerers of Tund, including scrolls, the Saber of Darth Krall, the mask of the Sith Lord Darth Momin, diverse lightsabers, and a parang.
