Daniel Frishman is an actor who played an Ewok in the 1983 original trilogy film, . He returned to play another Ewok, Deej Warrick, in Caravan of Courage: An Ewok Adventure and Ewoks: The Battle for Endor, two films released in 1984 and 1985, respectively. When interviewed years later in 2010 on the website Star Wars Interviews, Frishman did not recall auditioning for any of his Star Wars roles, but he assumed that he played Warrick because he had previously worked on Return of the Jedi. Playing an Ewok was difficult because of being sealed in to the costumes and the fact that the eyes would quickly fog up, but Frishman felt that the crew was understanding.

Looking back, he enjoyed being able to tell when his fellow Ewok actors were in character or not despite them being completely concealed in costume. Frishman also talked about getting along with a young Warwick Davis, who played Wicket, Deej's son in the films, and the rest of the Warrick family as well as working with directors John Korty and George Lucas. He remembered his time as an Ewok fondly but as hard work. Following a fifteen-year acting career, Frishman switched to working in real estate.
