Crodium

In 14 BBY, the Jedi Padawan Cal Kestis traveled to the Kyyyalstaad Falls on the planet Kashyyyk, where he discovered some crodium and kept it for making modifications to the lightsaber of his former master, Jedi Master Jaro Tapal, who gave the lightsaber to him shortly before his death during Order 66 in 19 BBY.

In the current Star Wars canon, crodium appeared in the 2019 video game Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, developed by Respawn Entertainment. In the game, it is one of the twenty-four materials players can collect in order to customize the appearance of Cal Kestis' lightsaber. In the Star Wars Legends continuity, crodium was a metal that first appeared in 2006's Legacy of the Force: Tempest, written by Troy Denning as the third novel in the Star Wars: Legacy of the Force series. It was first pictured in the 2010 massively multiplayer online game Star Wars: Clone Wars Adventures, developed by Sony Online Entertainment.
