In 25 ABY, it was used by Luke Skywalker and Jacen Solo to travel to Belkadan to investigate the ExGal facility there. Finding the facility virtually ruined, and all technology destroyed, the two subsequently found a Yuuzhan Vong slave camp. Jacen, believing he was being led by the Force, tried to rescue the slaves. Instead, he was captured and implanted with a slave seed. Luke Skywalker, however, managed to rescue him and the two escaped the planet.
The Courage would later be used as part of the ground defenses at the Battle of Dantooine.
