Imperial officers getting choked through the Force by Darth Vader as punishment for assassination attempts against him

In 1918 BBY, several assassination attempts were made on Emperor Palpatine's right hand man, Darth Vader, by officers of the Imperial Officer Corps. As a result, many officers were summoned to this auditorium by Palpatine, where he explained that an order from Vader was to be treated as an order from himself. After Palpatine finished speaking, Vader called five officers at random; Barokki, Corin Ferro, Zorta Bingan, Joon Strephi, and Tomas Azoras; to the front of the room. He elaborated on the assassination attempts, claiming that while he did not know exactly who ordered them, he would always survive. Vader began choking the five officers with the Force, who died as their fellow officers watched in horror. Of the officers killed, only Barokki was part of the conspiracy. In the audience, the sole surviving conspirator watched.
