Corleque

Corleque was a human male who served in the Imperial Navy with the rank of admiral. In 3 ABY, Corleque and Administrator Sly Moore led a force of three Imperial II-class Star Destroyers while undertaking a mission assigned by Emperor Palpatine to kill the Sith Lord Darth Vader in Red Space. Corleque and Moore unleashed hundreds of TIE fighters to stop Darth Vader, but the Sith Lord managed to destroy several fighters and to escape in a nebula, where a subspecies of the summa-verminoth resided.

Corleque was a human male who served the Galactic Empire during its reign. In 3 ABY, Corleque served in the Imperial Navy and served under Firmus Piett in the Battle of Comantira, where Piett delayed the evuacation by four seconds to allow Corleque's late shuttle a chance to meet up with the escape transport. Corleque eventually rose to the rank of admiral and led a force of three Imperial II-class Star Destroyers. Corleque and his forces assisted Administrator Sly Moore in following Emperor Palpatine's command to kill the Sith Lord Darth Vader and the Sith assassin Ochi in Red Space.

Moore warned Darth Vader that their Star Destroyers would have killed him, but the Sith Lord replied that, as Ochi had failed in the task, so would they. Corleque was confident that the Star Destroyers' cannons would have shot Vader's interceptor down, but Moore ordered several TIE fighters to chase the Sith Lord's starship. After Darth Vader destroyed them, Corleque unleashed the rest of his TIEs. In order to escape, Vader flew towards a nebula, where a creature, subspecies of the summa-verminoth, resided. The admiral asked what the creature was, and Moore replied that it was the galaxy's greatest predator. The creature destroyed several TIEs that were following Vader in the nebula, but Vader managed to evade it and escape.

Attacking the Executor

As the Scourge of the droids was unknowingly spreading throughout the galaxy, Corleque was in command of five Star Destroyers from his flagship. When the Scourge infected the droids of the Executor, the wider Empire was left unaware of the specifics of how the vessel had been compromised, but Mas Amedda declared that it could not be allowed to spread: Amedda thus ordered Corleque to destroy the Executor on the assumption Vader had failed to subdue the Scourge. However, reasoning that Amedda was more interested in seeing Vader killed and wanting to repay Piett's actions from the Battle of Comantira, Corleque delayed the destruction and dispatched a rescue team. In the end, Vader and his personal droids would succeed in stopping the Scourge from taking the Executor. However, the Scourge managed to spread itself to Corleque's flagship. Piett again gave Corleque four seconds to fix the issue but then ordered the fleet to destroy the compromised vessel.

Corleque had black hair, brown eyes, and tan skin. The admiral would have preferred to let the Star Destroyers' cannons shoot Vader down, but Moore ordered to unleash the TIE fighters. He also respected Firmus Piett, as he had served under him during the Battle of Comantira, where Piett had waited for four seconds, thereby allowing him to enter the evacuation transport, before it took off. Corleque also cared for his crew and pleaded that Piett think of the thousands at lives at stake when his flagship was compromised, but Piett only gave him four seconds once again before firing.

Equipment

Corleque wore a green uniform, a green kepi cap, black gloves, and black boots. His uniform also featured a rank insignia plaque and four code cylinders.
