Corey Burton


Biography


In the late 1970s, Corey Burton first got involved with the Star Wars universe when he voiced Luke Skywalker for a 1979 Disney Read-Along book/record retelling Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope. A year later, he provided the voice for Derek Klivian for Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back. He again voiced Luke in the audio drama Rebel Mission to Ord Mantell.

Years later, Burton returned to the Star Wars universe to play Count Dooku / Darth Tyranus in various LucasArts projects due to being considered Christopher Lee's "audio double." He also voiced San Hill in the 2003 micro-series, Ziro the Hutt in the 2008 movie, Cad Bane in the subsequent animated series, and many different characters in various projects.
