Corbin was a miner at an underground mining colony on an airless moon in the Outer Rim Territories. He was jealous of several of his coworkers, particularly Fiona and Ryland. In 2 BBY, after the Galactic Empire established its authority on the colony, Corbin framed Fiona and Ryland for being rebel spies, resulting in Fiona's death.
