Around 162 BBY, the Con Star Mining Corporation established colonies and mines on the planet Parnassos protected by a defense grid. The colonies were abandoned after a nuclear accident at one of the facilities, forcing the natives into destitution.
In 24 ABY, First Order troops led by General Brendol Hux crashed on the planet. They escaped with the help of the warrior Phasma, and Hux implied the First Order would punish the company for their abandonment.
