Coldppedas were fifteen-footed domestic animals that lived on the planet of Coonee. A teenage Han Solo and Chewbacca herded them for three years.
They were created by George Lucas shortly after the release of A New Hope in 1977 as part of the back-story of Han Solo. Coonee, or coldppedas, were never incorporated into Han's biography, despite the fact that Lucas developed them for the use of licensees in the Expanded Universe.
