Clone trooper grenadiers were clone troopers developed to offer concentrated firepower to the Grand Army of the Republic using grenades. Another favored weapon of the grenadiers were grenade launchers. In typical patrols, the ratio of regular clone troopers to clone trooper grenadiers was roughly three to one. Once deployed clone grenadiers would devastate close combat battles. They often used thermal detonators to destroy vehicles and enemy outposts.
