Clan Ha'rangir


Clan Ha'rangir was a clan of Mandalorians that fought for the Hidden Chain around 3626 BBY. They took part in the defense of Ruhnuk's Hidden Chain base of operations, during the Showdown on Ruhnuk, and led the Hidden Chain remnants that did not flee with the rest of Heta Kol's forces.

Named after the Mandalorian War God of destruction and the bringer of change and growth, Kad Ha'rangir, Clan Ha'rangir was founded by Mandalorians who believed that their people was being weakened by cowardice and inaction. They began a bloody expansion of conquest known as the in 3732 BBY. Their early successes inspired many raids and occupations and they gained a fortune in resources. Participating in the Mandalorian Wars centuries before, the Clan was by then considered a wealthy group among the Mandalorian culture.

Their Empire building peaked during the 3600s but it began to decline as the Clan's newer generations came to avoided the font-lines and instead preferred to manage and expand their wealth. Once formidable conquerors, the Clan's power resides in the wealth they command than the military might of their ancestors and grew to be vastly arrogant.

Mandalore the Avenger would not abide to the Clan's demands for respect of its status and offended the Clan to the point they would join the Hidden Chain. However, its Chieftain, Kur Ha'rangir, held his own ambitions. He conducted experiments on several Basilisk War Droids to create more powerful ones, even if it meant dismantling others and experimenting on them. When his actions were discovered by the , Shae's followers were appalled and, led by Lane Vizla, Kur's operations were thwarted and driven off world.

The Mandalorian Tra'tade however would gain the left behind Basilisk War Droids.
