Chorax was a planet in the Rachuk sector, which lay between Commenor and Talasea. It was the sole planet of the Chorax system, a haven for pirates and smugglers.
During the Galactic Civil War, the Rebel ship Nonnah once crashed on Chorax. Subsequently, Rogue Squadron had to save the ship's crew from Imperial forces.
In 6 ABY, during the Coruscant campaign, the Imperial Interdictor-class heavy cruiser Black Asp ambushed the yacht Pulsar Skate in the system. During the Bacta War, Rogue Squadron raided the Thyferran Convoy Delta-Two-Niner in the Chorax system.
