The Chattza clan was a Rodian clan on the planet Rodia. The clan was based on the continent opposite to that of Betu; the Chattza clan had little influence or presence in Betu. They were known to outfit interstellar starships.
During the reign of the Galactic Empire, the Chattza clan was the ruling clan of Rodia and one of its members served as the Rodian Grand Protector. The Chekkoo clan despised the Chattza clan, and was willing to rebel against the Galactic Empire just to spite them.
