In 4 ABY, an uprising by the population of the planet Charis in the Kathol sector of the Outer Rim Territories attempted to overthrow their Imperial oppressors. In retaliation, Moff Kentor Sarne, ruler of the sector, ordered his forces to put down the rebellion. One hundred and fifty million citizens were killed as the Empire retook control of the planet.
