Chancellors, Senators and States Persons of the Republic

Publisher's summary

The Republic was born of good intentions and its members were determined to integrate any planet or species that wished to join. Over time, however, it became corrupted. The Senate, which governed its fate, became a dangerous playground where only the most seasoned politicians could survive. Representatives of the Republic's various systems debated and legislated there daily, often driven more by their own ambitions than by the common good. In such an environment, some disappeared while others flourished until they reached the upper echelons of power.
