At some point after the Wanderer's disappearance, the city of Solace was destroyed by a figure known only as the Dark Wraith. Long after the city's destruction, other inhabitants of Cerosha developed several rumors regarding the reasons behind the event. Citizens of the nearby city of Mock believed that the inhabitants of Solace continued to refuse to follow the Dark Wraith's orders, and, after several incidents, the Dark Wraith punished Solace by destroying the entire city, leaving only a small number of survivors. In the time after Solace's destruction, the land on which it was built was not redeveloped, and the ruins of the city were left as a reminder of what disobedience would lead to.
