Centax-class heavy frigate

The Centax-class was armed with ten batteries of laser cannons and at least one vessel, the Ranger, was also furnished with two batteries of MG1-A proton torpedo launchers. This class of starship was known to be exceptionally fast considering its size.

Ships of this class were built by the shipwrights of Sluis Van and outfitted on Centax-1, a moon of Coruscant.
