The Cenotaph of the Innocents was a memorial erected on Coruscant in honor of the people killed in the destruction of the Jedi Temple by the Sith Empire during the Sacking of Coruscant in 3653 BBY.
The memorial consisted of asaari trees, with one sapling for each victim. As the years went by, the memorial had grown into an entire forest, complete with grottoes and benches for visitors to rest on and contemplate.
