Jedi Knight Laranna Fain defended the ship but was wounded in the process. She was healed by the Sith Lord Vivicar posing as a Jedi Master, but was also infected with the Dark Plague. She was rescued by a Jedi Consular.
In game, the ship is described as a standard Republic patrol vessel, but is depicted as an Ajuur-class heavy cruiser. According to Charles Boyd, the ship was probably intended to be a Thranta-class corvette by the original developers.
