The Carannian hills were a group of hills on the planet Serenno located outside the capital city of Carannia. By 42 BBY, a lookout was established in view of Carannia. In 42 BBY, Jenza, Dooku's sister took Jedi Masters Dooku, Lene Kostana and Sifo-Dyas to the lookout and showed them Carannia from a distance which was burning. This angered Dooku leading to him planning an assault on an Abyssin Outpost holding a comm tower that blocked transmissions during the Incident on Serenno.
