Captain Third Class was a rank within the Mon Calamari Guard. During the High Republic Era, Ghal Tarpfen held the rank before she was abruptly dismissed from the Guard by her former lover Shenrick. Around 230 BBY, years after she had departed Mon Cala, Tarpfen had a dream of the end of her time as a Captain Third Class while serving as the Head of Security on the Starlight Beacon space station.
