They had long cylindrical bodies with two pairs of stubby wings near the rear. They were equipped with hyperdrives. Pilots often painted the noses of their fighters, making them look like predatory animals as an intimidation and demoralizing tactic.
Buzzards were used throughout the last stages of the war and participated in the First Battle of Ruusan.
