Boz Vega first appeared in the novel Hunters: Battle for the Arena, which was written by Mark Oshiro and published by Disney–Lucasfilm Press on March 7, 2023. However, Vega was first pictured in the video game Star Wars: Hunters, during update 0.18.0 as a sticker for players to emote with, which released on September 13 of the same year.
