Borkeen Belt

The Borkeen Belt was a group of stone and iron asteroids. It was said to be the remains of a destroyed planet, and was notorious for destroying ships that entered it.

The largest space slug ever discovered (as of 22 BBY), an 80-meter specimen, was discovered in this belt. Bestselling author Rogar Farnoster, who had accompanied the University of Sanbra scientists who investigated the slug, placed the namesake antagonist of his novel "The Slug Named Grendel" in this belt.
