Bomb droids were a type of droid. Bomb droids were designed to seek out a target and detonate once near enough, and as such were basically a bomb on legs. They uttered a battle cry as they charged a target. Bomb droids were used by the Trade Federation onboard their flagship Saak'ak and on the planet Naboo during the Invasion of Naboo in the year 32 BBY. They exploded on impact if subject to a Force push by a Jedi, and could also be destroyed by a blaster shot, lightsaber strike, or explosion.
