The Bolotaur Beach was an area next to a river in the jungles of Kashyyyk. It was populated by many aggressive bolotaurs.
Sometime after the Battle of Yavin, Doctor Farnsworth had set up a survey device in this area to collect data about the environment. When his survey devices stopped sending signals, Farnsworth asked a spacer to travel to the devices and download the data from the devices' memory banks.
The Bolotaur Beach was a location in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts, prior to its closure on December 15, 2011. It was added to the game in the 2005 expansion pack Rage of the Wookiees. The name of the area was revealed during the quest Collecting Survey Data for Doctor Farnsworth.
