In 45 ABY, the Blue Star was bought by the Columi brothers, Craitheus and Marvid Qreph in their attempt to financially acquire all of the Chiloon Rift. When Han Solo and Lando Calrissian came to Valnoos after surviving an assassination attempt on the planet Sarnus, they stopped at the Blue Star to relax. However, the previous assassination attempt had been arranged by the Qreph brothers, and they staged a second attempt at their casino. The attempt succeeded in capturing Han Solo, and the Blue Star was heavily damaged by arachnokillers which exploded in the casino during the operation.
