Vi Moradi, a spy and recruiter for the Resistance, did not consider Bina a viable candidate for the movement due to her entrepreneurial endeavors. According to local gossip that Moradi heard, Mubo of the Droid Depot allegedly had a crush on Bina.
Bina is one of many shopkeeper characters created for the Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge theme park land. In February 2020, the Creature Stall began offering a free scavenger-hunt activity book, Bina's Guide to the Creatures of Batuu, for children ages 10 and under. After stamping the books at each location, the player would be rewarded with a special coaster token.
