Beti was a modified snub-barrelled blaster rifle owned by Sylvestri Yarrow. A gift from her mother Chancey, Sylvestri named the rifle after her childhood doll as a joke.
Beti the blaster rifle first appeared in the 2021 novel The High Republic: Out of the Shadows. The rifle's name was spelled "Betty" in an excerpt of the novel published with The High Republic: Into the Dark.
