Beilert Valance's mother first appeared, in flashbacks, in the thirty-fourth issue of the 2020 comic series Star Wars: Bounty Hunters. The issue was written by Ethan Sacks, illustrated by Paolo Villanelli, and published by Marvel Comics on May 17, 2022. Prior to the release of the comic, the character was revealed in a preview article of the issue that was published on StarWars.com on May 9 of the same year.
