Battle of Palanhi (Galactic Civil War)

This battle took part of the offensive planned by reborn Emperor Palpatine against the New Republic to reconquer the Core Worlds. Those assaults were executed by the reunified Imperial warlords and loyal Imperial forces prior to the launch of Operation Shadow Hand.

Grand Moff Ardus Kaine was charged to reconquer the Northern Dependencies, including the northern part of the Core. This battle allowed the Empire to control Palanhi and attack Borleias.

This battle makes its first appearance in The Essential Atlas. The battle is only illustrated on the galactic map of the conflict.
