The freighters exchanged several spectrum laser shots before Chiss Defense Force Admiral Ers'ikaro's Firewolf man-of-war Bellicose stopped the battle in order to prevent further escalation of the crisis.
Clarr family Patriarch Clarr'ivl'exow later asked Clarr Captain Clarr'os'culry—who considered the battle at Csaus to have been smaller than a skirmish—if she had heard about the engagement, which the officer confirmed. Shortly thereafter, the Tahmie and Droc resumed their hostilities on the planet Jamiron.
