Bakari was a Jedi of the Jedi Order stationed at the Jedi outpost on the Mid Rim planet Bromlarch during the High Republic Era. Shortly after the Nihil marauders attacked the Outer Rim planet Valo's Republic Fair in 231 BBY, they responded to Jedi Master Stellan Gios's comm for assistance. Not long afterward, Bakari flew a Jedi Vector during a battle against the Nihil at the Cyclor Shipyards.

As a Jedi of the Jedi Order, the Force-sensitive individual Bakari was stationed at the Jedi outpost on the Mid Rim planet Bromlarch during the High Republic Era. When the Nihil marauder organization attacked the Outer Rim planet Valo's Republic Fair in 231 BBY, communications to and from the fair were inoperable until Jedi Padawan Ram Jomaram repaired the world's comm tower. Afterward, Jedi Master Stellan Gios called on his fellow Jedi over comms from the ground on Valo to coordinate reinforcements. Bakari promptly responded to the summons alongside their colleagues, indicating where they were stationed on Bromlarch at the time.
Not long after, Bakari joined their fellow Jedi at the Cyclor Shipyards orbiting the Mid Rim planet Cyclor to engage the Nihil under Gios's command, having duped the Nihil Tempest Runner Pan Eyta into believing the location would be unguarded. Before their enemy arrived, the Jedi responded to a roll call while in their Jedi Vector fighters. Having been well-prepared for the attack, the fighting between the Nihil and the combined forces of the Jedi, the Republic Defense Coalition, and their other allies was short, resulting in a Republic victory over Pan Eyta's Tempest.
Bakari's voice appeared in the 2021 novel The High Republic: The Rising Storm, written by Cavan Scott for the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's Phase I.
