BT-823 was a bounty hunter who worked with fellow bounty hunters CT-720 and Beilert Valance. Valance was later reminded of his work with BT-823, CT-720, and a few other hunters by the former Imperial Cavic sometime prior to the hunt for the Sith Lord Darth Vader in 1 BBY. Cavic further called the aforementioned bounty hunters a "solid bunch."
