Vibro-motors that were installed alongside a gene-lock—which kept weapons from activating without their owner's use by reading DNA—would be disabled. They could also be utilized in tandem with an "Accu-Strike" integrated targeting computer in order to improve a user's accuracy. Usage of vibro-motors with the targeting computers involved installing them into the gauntlets or gloves of the user, then connecting them to the helmet system of the armor.
