In 34 ABY, a cargo transport owned by Mubo—the owner of Droid Depot—and J-4X was attacked and boarded by a Guavian Death Gang cell led by Tara Rashin. Mubo's droid repair technician managed to escape and crash-landed onto the planet Batuu in an escape pod that was nearly destroyed by Rashin. At the request of Mubo, the technician later visited the site of the crash and successfully retrieved the cargo that the Guavian Death Gang tried to steal.
